Where did you grow up and what music influenced you as a teen?
Born and raised in Kansas City Missouri, Was into Country and Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison and Southern Gospel.
At what age did you realize you wanted to be in music?
At age 14 I began singing in church and loved singing and thought at that time I wanted to sing for a living!
Your first single was made in 1986, what lessons have you learned about the music business since then?
Oh countless number of things!! Most of all to be who I am! Not to take the highs to extreme and to press through the lows!
How was it working with producer Gary Smith for your latest project?
Gary is a WONDERFUL producer! He knows how to get the best out of you and is really in tune and creative!  He puts everything he has into each project he takes on!
So why the long absence in between your "Reaching For The Love" recording and this one?
Well, finances have been the biggest delay. Also, just making sure that I was confident enough in my writing to actually record and release an album where evrything on it I had written or collaborated on.
Your schedule with performing is pretty heavy, how did you find time to record this latest album?
Winter is a slow time for me so we just made time for it!
You have been releasing music even before the CD came out. What are your thoughts on digital downloads? Is it a good thing to make more money or is it killing the industry?
The industry has opened up for independent artists and that's GREAT!  Now everyone has the opportunity to be heard and to EAT!
Before digital, The major labels had a monopoly, now even us little guys can pay some bills too. I think it is good for the industry as a whole.
What is the indie Country scene like? Are most artists and bands willing to work together or is there a lot of drama?
So far it seems that the indie artist are aware we need to help each other out!
Can you tell us what to expect from your new CD?
A little variety I would say. Hopefully listeners will enoy the entire CD right down to the comical song that's on it!
What do you have in store for the rest of 2011?
Hoping to get out and play regionally and nationally as opportunity presents itself, just perform and try to please the fans! They are what it's all about!
